Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the DreamBuddy app (called Rüyam in Turkish), provided by B&T APPS ("we"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

DreamBuddy is a dream journal where you write down your dreams, receive personal interpretations generated with the help of AI and keep them. Your dreams are read by five reader characters, each with their own view: Hatice Nine (traditional reading), Deniz (psychological view), Leyla Abla (love & relationships), Kerem (career & decisions) and Bora (the funny take). The readers are fictional characters, not real people. Part of the service is free; some features require stardust or a Premium subscription.

  • Standard (free): you can send 1 dream a day. You can send it to up to five readers one at a time; each send is unlocked by a rewarded ad, up to 5 ad readings a day. Ads can't be watched back to back; each ad unlocks one action.
  • Premium: you can send 3 dreams a day, each to all five readers at once, with no ads.
  • Questions: you can ask the reader up to 5 questions about an opened interpretation. On Standard each question is unlocked by a rewarded ad; with Premium questions have no ads.
  • On top of these allowances, you can always get extra readings and ask extra questions with stardust. Daily allowances reset every day based on Turkey time.

2. Your account

  • You need an account (email, Google or Apple) to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your details accurate and your account secure.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, get a parent's or guardian's permission before making purchases.
  • You may not transfer your account or use someone else's.

3. Your content and rules

  • Your dream texts belong to you. You grant us a limited, free licence to process them solely to provide the service (create, store and show interpretations).
  • You may not submit unlawful content, content that infringes others' rights, hate speech, harassment, violence or child sexual abuse material; and you may not abuse the service, overload it with automated tools, try to bypass security measures or reverse engineer the app.
  • If you break these rules we may remove content, or suspend or close your account.

4. Stardust

  • Stardust is a virtual item usable only inside the app. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or used outside the app.
  • Stardust can always be used on top of your daily allowance: 1 stardust is one reading from one reader, or one question. If a reading or answer can't be created, the stardust spent is refunded automatically.
  • Purchased stardust never expires. Daily stardust from Premium is kept separately and is spent first.
  • New accounts get 1 welcome stardust once per device. On the Standard plan, when your balance is zero you can earn 1 free stardust a day by watching an ad. Your moon streak gifts stardust on nights 3, 7, 14 and 30, and then every 30 nights. We may change or end these free rewards at any time.
  • Stardust is sold in packs of 1, 5, 10, 50, 250 and 500 through Google Play or the App Store, and purchases are subject to their refund policies. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
  • Remaining stardust is deleted with your account and is not refunded.

5. Waiting and skipping ahead

Interpretations open in about 20 minutes on the Standard plan and about 5 minutes with Premium. You can move a waiting interpretation 15 minutes ahead by spending 1 stardust or watching an ad. Times may vary with demand and technical conditions.

6. Premium subscription

  • What you get: 3 dreams a day, each sent to all five readers at once, interpretations 4× faster (in about 5 minutes), daily stardust topped up to 5 every day (unused daily stardust doesn't carry over) and no ads, including for readings and questions.
  • Plans and price: monthly and yearly plans. The current price is shown on the purchase screen and in the store, including taxes.
  • Free trial: some plans include a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the paid subscription starts. One trial per person.
  • Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; payment is charged to your store account.
  • Cancelling: on Android go to Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; on iPhone go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Premium until then. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.
  • Refunds: Google and Apple process payments, so refund requests follow their policies.
  • Price changes are announced in advance in line with store rules.
  • Restoring: link subscriptions and stardust bought with the same store account via Profile > Restore purchases.

7. Ads

The free experience may show ads served by third parties (Google AdMob). We are not responsible for ad content or advertisers' products. Premium members see no ads.

8. Intellectual property

The app's design, reader characters, texts, logos and software belong to B&T APPS or its licensors. You get a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Changes to the service

We may change, add or remove features to improve the service. If we shut the service down entirely, we will give reasonable notice; your statutory rights are not affected.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is"; we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on interpretations or for indirect damages. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence or your rights under consumer law.

11. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time in the app under Profile > Delete my account; see Account & data deletion. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumer disputes, the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction within statutory limits. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page and significant changes are announced in the app.

Interpretations are generated automatically by AI and are for entertainment and self-reflection. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or not what you expect. No interpretation is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice; don't base important decisions on them. If you are struggling or in an emergency, contact a professional or your local emergency number.

You can report an inappropriate or upsetting interpretation with the in-app "Report interpretation" option; we review reports and take appropriate action.
